The Clouds

Clouds. An assemblage of condensed water moisture typically hovering high above us, but sometimes much lower. Sometimes they appear to be thicker, oddly shaped, more rounded, or flat.

Other times they can be very tiny or extremely huge.

Sometimes they are not alone. A single cloud is not enough, numerous clouds are needed. Often a strongly bound group of clouds will appear or they may look weaker, they may contain doorways to the clear blue heavens above them.

On other occasions, the clouds will vary in color. Some will be extremely dark and scary, while others will be lighter and at times stunningly white.

Regardless of their appearance or distance, the clouds are there to fulfill a purpose. They are there to help us. To provide us needed resources, to challenge and teach us.

Initially, the clouds may be far away. We have not yet felt their effects, but we can see them off in the distance and sense their presence. Sometimes those distant clouds slowly approach us and it may take hours or days before they overcome us. In some cases, there are moments in our lives when the clouds rapidly come upon us resulting in bad choices, choice that lead to fear and feelings of gloom and disappointment.

No matter what, we cannot completely avoid the clouds. Eventually, they will come; we need them. They are valuable to our existence. What we can do, is prepare. Put forth the effort to gain the necessary knowledge, tools and resources to help us avoid, or endure and overcome these cloudy trials by making the right choices.

In the end, may we all remember that there is a bright light behind every cloud. Through preparation and right choices, we can and will see and feel the presence of that light.

Matthew 24:29-30
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
